Art & Wellbeing Workshops
No previous art experience is needed - only curiosity, openness and time for yourself.
Art as a space to slow down
My art & wellbeing workshops by Anna Mykhalchuk are gentle creative practices rooted in Samchykivka painting, observation of nature, and conscious presence.
They are created as a space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience art not as performance, but as care.
These workshops invite you to notice colour, rhythm, and detail — and through this process, to return to a sense of calm, clarity, and inner balance.
No previous art experience is needed.
Only curiosity, openness, and time for yourself.
My approach to art & wellbeing
I work at the intersection of traditional folk art and contemporary wellbeing practices.
Samchykivka art is a traditional Ukrainian folk painting style known for its flowing botanical forms, rhythmic movement, and symbolic connection to nature.
In these workshops, Samchykivka painting becomes a tool for wellbeing through art by supporting::
slowing the nervous system through rhythm and repetition
strengthening attention and presence
creating a sense of grounded focus
reconnecting with nature through symbolic imagery
This is not art therapy.
It is a mindful art practice, where the process matters more than the result.
What participants often experience
During these art & wellbeing workshops participants commonly describe:
a sense of slowing down and mental quiet
increased focus and clarity
renewed confidence in creative intuition
relief from everyday overstimulation
enjoyment of creating without judgment
The workshops create space for attentive making — where being present matters more than producing a finished artwork.
